My name is Kayla and I love decorating cakes!

My mother started decorating cakes 25 years ago. I can remember sitting at the kitchen table watching her make boxes and boxes of royal icing roses. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. So when I was old enough she taught me (and my sister) the basics and that was that.

We started out doing cakes that were pretty but not challenging technically. Over the years our pool of knowledge has grown significantly. We are definitely quick learners.I am constantly looking for that new challenge in cake decorating that will look amazing and teach me something new.
